  1. Help please,
Do I need to have a Database Directory setup on my web before the Access.mdb files will publish and run correctly. I am using FrontPage 2000 and have Server Extensions enabled on my web.
At the moment I keep getting the error message: - 550 names.asp Access is denied when I try to publish. (names.asp is one of my pages)
    Help would be appriciated.
    Thanks in advance - Stephen.

No. You do not need to have a database directory setup before you can publish.

just to make sure, you are getting the error when trying to publish, not when you hit the page
