We have about 20 workstations, some running Windows 2000 and some XP. The discs are all over the place too. So I want to reinstall windows on the sluggish machines, replacing Win2000 with XP.To simplify things, I would like to purchase a licensing arrangment where I can just use one set of CD's and reinstall whenever I need to. Is this a possibility and where can I purchase this. And would it be cheaper than buying individual packages at $209 (price on Microsoft.com). Any recommendations on how to approach this is appreciated. Thank you andGod Bless, Mark A. Sam
You can buy multiple copies of WinXP and just use a single CD to install.Just make sure you use the different license key that come w/ the box. Just a thought!! Why not use Vista instead? Bruce DiscountASP.NET www.DiscountASP.NET
Hello Bruce, Thank you for the reply. This company isn't going to use Vista until it has been on the market awhile to avoid service pack 2 type issues. Plus some of these machines are a few years old and may not be able to handle the program. For their functionality, XP is sufficient. God Bless, Mark
