Question about hosting a game server

    I am developing a MMO rpg, so besides a normal web server which service
    web pages, I need to create a game server, which will create a raw socket
    and receive/send data from/to clients. The game server need to run in a
    different process or thread.

    Can I use your share host to do this?

    nope. In general, if you want to host a game server, you want to find a company that specialized on that. You can find a lot of game server hosting company.
