Raw Logs Rock

  1. Thanks, guys, this is a great solution to the stats issue.

I have experienced an issue - ticket is opened with support - where my httplog folder isn't visible in FTP Voyager or IE FTP. I have to go to a command prompt and use an FTP get to download the logs. Has anyone else seen this?

I am using a freeware product, Weblog Expert Lite, to look at the stats. I have to take each days log and move it into a single document in order to see more than one day at a time. The stats are very helpful. They also have a more robust product for $75.

However, I can see this becoming very cumbersome as the file grows in size. Can anyone suggest a decent web log parser product, perhaps one that will put the log data into SQL or Access? I'd like to try and maintain as large a block of data as possible for long term statistics. Otherwise, I'll see how month to month works out.

For now at least, the ability to see where traffic is coming from and what search terms are being used is very helpful.

    Regards,

    WM
