Regional Settings on the Database

  1. Hi

    I have purchased the european hosting however the database and server are in US settings??? so my dates and currency is all wrong, can this be changed? I really do not want to write this formatting....please help?

  3. I have ran EXEC sp_defaultlanguage 'SQL2005_583167_dcs_user', 'British'; its says Command(s) completed successfully.

    however this is not changing the language....any ideas?

    We recommend that you use the Convert function SELECT CONVERT(varchar(15), Getdate(),103) when inputting the date to your database - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms187928.aspx (for the style). Please recall that the SQL engine sends the data in binary format. If you login using SSM08 and use the command 'select getdate ()' you will get the time back in Brtish English
