Reporting services Excel Export

    When i export report to Excel few of the columns are coming are merged cells. In reports a single column would take two columns in Excel. This is preventing me from uploadingthe report to a tool. Please help

    Merged cells also prevent filtering and sorting etc... a really poor implementation, my clients do not like it and I always have to be mindful of it to minimize the effects...
    I sure hope they have fixed this in SSRS 2008.
