I am looking for a reporting tool to use with VB.NET and SQL Server. I want to create some standardreports (maybe passing parameters) and displaying these on a web page as PDFs. I understand Crystal Reports cannot be usedwith DiscountASP due to licensing issues. SQL 2000 Reporting Services seems a lot of work. Active Reports is goodbut it is very expensive. I have been looking at XtraReports by Developer Express. Does anyone know whether this can be used with DiscountASP? Thanks.
I read the deployment doc, and it looks like you can just copy the component's DLL files in your application's bin. No need to install/register anything on the server. So, yes, this should work with DiscountASP. Aristotle DiscountASP.NET www.DiscountASP.NET
Aristotle, Thanks. I'll buy the package and try developing with it and deploying on DiscountASP.I'll post the results here in case they of interest to anyone else.There is a 60 day money back if it fails.
