Is there a setting or option that I need to set so I can see the domain names in SmarterStats, currently it's just showing me IP addresses. Thanks in advance GDN
In the Site Activity report for example, it shows the IP addresses that have visited the website. I'd like to see what domain names these IP addresses come from.
In Site Activity the IPs will not resolve to sites, but rather to visitor's ISPs. You want to look at the reports under Referrals to see the sites that are sending visitors your way.
So basically what you're saying is the web stats package doesn't tell you who is visiting. LiveStats used to do that. I don't care who is referring them to me, I want to know why they are. Looks like I'll have to export it and import it into something else? Thanks GDN
For visitor IP, you'll need to go to Settings -> My Settings -> Account settings In the Report Options, you can check "Enable IP Address Resolution"
