Restore Failed

    As the error states your backup that you are trying to restore has more than one file. Your home computer setup and our hosting servers do not have the same configuration, so things will not neccessarilywork the same. The best thing to do is to open up a support ticket.

    Hello All

    We have Database server in this site. I takes daily backup and then restore to my online database server through discountasp.net.

    But from last day whenever I amrestoring the backup, following message is coming :

    Restore failed. The database backup file contains more than one data file. You cannot restore database backup (.bak) files with more than one data file.
    but while I am trying to restoring the same backup file to my local server , It is restoring the database without any error successfully.





    Can Any body tell me that why this problem is occuring and how to shortout the problem.
