Restoring/backup Discountasp

    I have been trying to use sql tool suite to restore data from my machine to the discountasp website. I had no success so I tried to restore a backup from the sql tools to a database on my machine, this did not work either, login problems. I have added my Discountasp sql database user asa login on my machine but this still does not work. Is the only way to move data between my machine and discountasp's is to use scripts?

    what type of errors are you see locally. They can be many reasons why your database is not restoring locally or at DASP. IF you create a ticket in the control panel after the restored failed at our servers, our tech support can check the logs and see what happened.

    As for the restore locally, you create an empty database locally and then use the restore database from tasks (rt on databases drop down list) - select device - find the bak file you downloaded from the dasp servers - select advance tab and make sure that the file is pointing the files of the empty database you created earlier. Make sure that you select overwrite database check box on top of the property box
