"Richer Components' latest RichTextBox v3.x and RichMessageBoard v3.x components are now available on all web servers at no additional cost. RichTextBox can be used to add WYSIWYG textboxes to ASP.NET web applications giving users Microsoft Office style text and HTML editing capabilities with spell check and multilingual support. The new RichMessageBoard allows developers to drop in forums, comments, and ratings to any website page enabling a Web 2.0 experience." Glad to see these new components add. How are they referenced, at both page level and in the web.config file.
Full documentation is on their website: http://www.richercomponents.com/Support/OnlineDocumentation.aspx
Yeah.. This is a great deal for our customers. This arrangement is exclusive to DiscountASP.NET and you can't get it from other hosts.
@SQL... I'm currently working on a Webcast for DiscountASP.NET that will show how to use these. I already have ideas for showing how to use the RichMessageBoard component. How would you like to see RichTextBox used?
...Sorry for the delay in this, they went through a change of ownership. I'm not sure if the DASP crew has gotten word back yet but I have not.
Where to download a 3.x version of RichTextBox? I can get by with v3.x if you know where one can download it.
I'm posting the files the previous owners provided me with. It should be the correct version for you to use. http://msftwise.com/code/Richbinfiles.zip
