    to be honest ? no, I didn't ...
I just made myself a forum in ASP.NET, but it is very basic and very specific. Otherwise I would share it with you, but is nothing that you can just put in a folder and start configuring it ... If I can find some spare-time, I might convert it to such a form.

  4. I found a not bad software for web site portal. Not bad because it is frrree :). http://www.ultraapps.com/freecommunitywebportal.html
They have ASP.NET (C#) version and forum is included. I modified it but, to tell the truth, forum sucks big time. I started modifying, and adding new features to it but it is not worth it. It is a big piece of work. So i am looking for some ASP.NET software that already have all of the features good PHP forum have. ASP.NET Forums 1.5 seems to be first of a kind :). I will try to play with it and see if I can get it to work on shared hosting. Otherwise it is usless for me...

    Check this out

    http://instantasp.co.uk/

They make the KB software we used. Works great.

We are looking at replacing this forum with instantasp's.

  6. Yep, that is a great forum. A petty though, that they didn't move to .NET yet.

  7. Why not just use the Snitz forum like DASP do?

installtion is a doddle and it all works in a subdirectory of whatever site you want to put it on, i have one running at http://www.europe-chimaera.com

though, Snitz hasn't got the "Alt + S to send your post" feature that i've become so used to these days. it had polls and private forums though, all features I needed at the time

  8. bruce,

I have implemented the InstantForum v3.4, from InstantASP (http://instantasp.co.uk/)...

I got it configured and up and running in no time (on my discountasp.net account)... It also seems that the v4.0 is only a few months away, with many added features.

If you'd like to see it.. let me know?
