Server Error on my site ?

Hi Everyone,

When I publish my site I'm getting a server error. Below is the error. I've contacted discountasp.net and they have said its my local server thats causing the issue. I don't know what to do to try and fix the problem. I've also attached a photo of where the folder/pages are on my site. Can anyone tell me what I should do to try and fix the issue ?

You can mix ASP.NET pages with classic ASP pages but when you are using cassini it will not serve classic asp.

You do have options but personally I am a fan of Microsoft's Cassini.

For any classic ASP pages you need to be running IIS, or test live on your DASP account.

 

Just from experience.

When you test run ASP.NET pages from Visual Studio, Visual Web Developer or Expression Web it creates the lightweight server.
Running classic ASP however requires IIS, locallysame as ona remote server.

I'll help you with whatever you need, just don't have a handle yet on what that need is.

Thanks for the reply. How do you know that I'm using Cassini ? Please understand, I'm not questioning your knowledge but I would just like to know. Also, if I want to run classic asp pages will I need to switch to something other than Cassini ? If so, what ? What do you mean by DASP account ?
