Service Unavailable - troubleshooting

  1. My website goes down regularly for a couple minutes at a time with a "Server Unavailable" (503) error.

    My understanding is that some limit is reached (e.g. # of open connections) which causes this. If this is the case, I'm trying to figure out what limit is being reached.

    Is there a simple way to tell what "limit" caused this error?



    I opened a log file for the day and didn't see any mention of this error, though I know it happened. I'm trying to get "Error Request Tracing" working, but not sure if this is the right approach.

  2. Write to support, and they'll be able to tell you if there's any problems. This could be caused by many factors, and I think asking support would probably be the best way to start.
