  1. I'm getting a 'Service Unavailable' screen on a regularly basis since this afternoon (well, in Belgium it is now 18:00 hours) when posting data. Anyone with the same problem ?

  4. I'm having the same problem with my site today, I just transferred it over to discount asp.net, getting "Service Unavailable" about 10% of the time - this is very frustrating...I lose money when people don't connect to my site.

please create a support ticket if you see this error.

There are many reasons why this error comes up, we can investigate more if we konw which account is happening to.

  6. What DiscountASP isn't telling anyone is that they're imposing 'concurrent connection limits' on accounts..which has forced many of us to take our hosting elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

If you are receiving a "Service Unavailable" error, we suggest customers create a support ticket so we can help identify the reasons why this is happenning - rather than second guessing the situation.

Service Unavailable, like the imfamous 500 error, can be cause by many different problems. Hitting concurrent connection limit is just one of many of these possibilties. One of the bug with the new Jet engine can also cause this problem.

We suggest all users seeing this error contact support to identify the root cause.

Note the large number of posts this guy has made. For the record - I run 4 sites here and have been a customer for over a year and I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've had that kind of problem.

    pls contact support.

We have tools that we can run to determine what is the cause of this error (note that we must run the tool while the error is happening)

  11. I got this problem today again. I believe it's caused by SPAM-robots who post several dataposts to a site with open forms.

Since I added a SPAM-checker the problem dissapeared. Until today. Will have to check the logs again what might have caused it today.

I'm from Sweden (CET time zone) it's frustrating to have to wait for the support to wake up and process the support tickets.
