Setting Permissions

    I am trying to set up a content management system on my site but I need to be able to change certain files permissions from 777 to 666 and other files permissions from 666 to 777. I know I can do this on a UNIX based server by right clicking on the file in my ftp client and then going to get info and just changing the number and pressing submit. however whenever I try and do it using the windows based server I get an error. Can anyone please help me by telling me how to adjust these permissions. thanks.

    You cannot assign permissions to individual files within your application.You can usethe permission manager within the control panel to (deny or allow) access to sub-folders for anonymous users.
