site mismatch on webmail certificate

  1. When I access my webmail through https using webmail.mydomain.com, I get a certificate error in IE7 due to the name mismatch (certificate was issued to *.internetmailserver.net). That makes sense, but is there any way to tell IE to ignore that error for that certificate or address or something? I KNOW the mismatch is there, and I also know that the channel is still encrypted regardless, so I'd really like to not have to click through all of IE's nonsense in the future. Stupid IE...

Anyone know how to tell IE to quit bothering me with its nonsense?

I think older version of IE allows you to bypass that but not IE7.

Try use the secure URL (found in the Email manager) instead of webmail.your domain.com
