Sql 2005 Question?

    Shouldn't i be able to connect to my sql2000 database thru sql 2005 mgment studio?

    I just installed 2005 and can connect to 2000 local instances but can not connect to my discountasp db, is this possible?

    Or am i missing some setting?

    currently connecting thru tcp/ip protocal

    You should be able to connect to MS SQL 2000 with SSMS unless your network blocks the required port.

    What error are you getting?
