SQL Express Upsizing Tool

    Everyone!

    i just got word from MS that they are getting the exe packed now. we should be getting our hands on this tool soon.

    anyone want to beta test w/ us??

  9. I read in Scott Guthrie's blog that it has been placed in "limited" beta. Hopefully it will be available soon (they must be having some issues since the expected release date has come and gone).

    we got the bits and is now working on getting it integrated into our system. we expect another 2 - 3 wks.

  12. Is there an update on this tool? I'd definitely try beta. I just signed up for sql hosting, and can't find a way to get SQL Express data to DASP SQL.

    OK, thanks. Just confirming that ETA is somewhere around1 to 1.5 weeks now. I'm kind of dead in the water from everything I've read without this. Thanks very much

    Folks...

    We found some rather major problem with the Upsizing Tool provided by MSFT. It failed when we try to upsize the out-the-box starter kit database.

    The interface is already created but the backend (MS stuff) is not working properly. We have contacted the team already and is waiting for their reply.

    We have launched a new SQL management tool that makes uploading SQL Express DB much easier.

    Check it out in the control panel.
