Hi everyone, I bought hosting at discountasp with the hope of using the Personal starter kit to get something up and ready fast. However, I get the impressioin that 'Sqlexpress' is not offered on on discountasp.net and is not clearly mentioned in the 'offerings'. Did a search on the community posting and did not get a single posting to clearley state that 'sqlexpress' is not available. If I need to modify the personal starter kit to use Sql 2005, I need to install SQL 2005 on my local machine. Can anyone tell me clearly that 'Sqlexpress' is NOT available on discountasp.net and point me to some article on how to proceed with hosting the Personal starter kit. thnx a lot !!
Unfortunately SQL Express is not support on Discountasp shared hosting environment. Please understand that SQL Express does not have all the features as SQL 2005 and was intended for desktop application and for testing purposes for web applications.
