Just want to make sure that SQL Express is supported. Also, has anyone had an issue with Visual Studio 2008 (Professional)and SQL Express 2008. I get an error from VS stating the SQL Express 2008 is not supported with VS 2008? Is there a fix for this?
Hi, SQL Express is not supported but you can use the Attach tool to get a SQL Express DB on-line here. If you update VS2008 it connects to each SQL Server 2008 type with no trouble. I connect to both the enterprise and express versions fromVS2008 Pro.
