SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition

    I just discovered that Microsoft is selling a developer edition of SQL server 2005 for $50.
    Amazon has it $45

    Is there any problem developing your database with this edition and using it with the SQL server addin at DASP.net. It seem like a lot easier approach than waiting for some upsizing tool to materialize for SQL server express. I expect most people reading this forum are developers of some kind. It seems the developer edtion is an ideal solution since DASP.net does not support SQL server express.

    Am I missing something here?

    yeah.. we usually recommend customer getting SQL developer version.

    It is cheap and it comes w/ all the necessary tools to administer database.
