SQL server 2005 server not found

Hello all,

I have just installed SQL server 2005 developer's edition. and after installing , i can not see SQL server 2005 services under start menu/all programs/sql server 2005/configuration tools/sql server configuration manager/sql server 2005 services.

neither i can see it in services under administarator tools. and so..i dont find any local server when i try to conect to my database engine server..as i don't have any local server there.and it gives me error 40.

Can anyone help me......Whats wrong where ? and now what can i do to make it usable...!!!!
