  1. I've got a couple of questions regarding the 2008 Add-On. I currently have SQL 2005 added to my account, but since I'm upgrading to VS 2008 I'm contemplating upgrading.

    1. Is the $10 Add-on price for SQL 2008 a flat rate, or is this $10 added to the $10 for 2005 for a total of $20/month?

    2. If I decide to upgrade to 2008, would it simply take the place of my 2005 upgrade (the money I've already invested in the 2005 database would move very to the 2008 upgrade).

    3. What are the reprecussions of switching from 2005 to 2008? I assume we would first backup our 2005 database, the the switch would be made to 2008, then we'd have to do some type of conversion then re-populate the 2008 DB?

    Thanks

Flat rate of $10. You would cancel your SQL 2k5 after you migrate to 2k8

SQL 2k5 is pretty compatible w/ 2k8. We have not seen many issues with upgrading.
