  1. Well, here's a dumb question. I am about to order a SQL Server 2008 add on for my account. There is a blank textbox to enter a database name. Does the name that I assign to the database need to be the same name as the database that I am going to upload from my laptop? Or is this just an administrative name, like 'database 1'?

For example, if the SQL 2008 database on my laptop is named spiffyDb, then I need to enter 'spiffyDb' in the blank textbox to order the add on? If so, can I change this name later?

I only ask because I intend to test out a couple different databases (one at a time - test one, if it doesn't work, drop it and upload a different one, etc).

Oh yeah, you know I'm a newbie.

  2. Its just an organizational name that gets added to the back of the name we auto generate. You can use anything you like pretty much. I also want to mention, you do not want to mimic database names or database usernames on your local computer and our SQL servers.
