    Hi, Do you guys support SQL Server 2008 R2?
    I heard you guys don't. it is true?
    I'm trying to install my DotNetNuke.

    SQL 2008 R2 is available as an addon to the base plan.

    Is it neccesery to have SQL Server 2008 R2 addons, I have my own database what is this for?

    It's an add-on service, SQL. It isn't available by default when you set up an account.

    I want to understand whether my database works with out that add-on Database or not.

    Well you can't use your database here unless you add on database service. You can host the database elsewhere and access it remotely from your application. But if you want your database to live on our servers, you have to have the SQL add-on.
