SQL Server Management Studio Express vs. Full Text Search.

    I went here(http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10467) first for instructions on how tocreate full text indexing.

    When I get to Storage | (right click)Full Text Catalog, the only option I get is Refresh. Where's the CreateNew[Catalog] option?

    I later noticed that the article didn't say Management Studio Express. There was no Express.Could that be the reason why I'm not having the ability to create a new catalog, since the Express version doesn't support it?

    Are there any other ways I can create catalogs with Management Studio Express? Please help!

    SQL express does not allow you create full text via the GUI. It is a strip down version of SQL management studio. You will need to to create the full text via tsql
