Are you sure? I don't see an internal email here from the system administrators, and they'll always alert support (then support relays the message to the forum). I'll check with them.

Sorry Bill, I asked the DBA to take a look a this thread, but I don't know if I got to him in time to get a response today.
Bill, we apologize for the late response. It seems that the server did shutdown for a missing update that was necessary. The update was supposed to be installed the night before but it failed with the network outage.
We found a someone abusing the SQL Server and we stop them to prevent the problem again. Both of these issues are not related. We also posted about this second problem on our forum post here: http://community.discountasp.net/threads/sql2k1201-connectivity.21295/
