I just signed up with discountasp.net and have a question regarding SQL Server Compact Edition. I read an earlier post where the assembly System.Data.SqlServerCe.dll was identified as missing, but the only response back was that it is not installed. Can this be installed by DiscountAsp.net? My app stores a small amount of data in a SQL CE file, not enough to warrant a full version of SQL, but I do not want to use XML or Access. Please advise. Thank you.
sorry.. we cannot install CE on the server. I think your best bet is to use Access or XML if you do not want to use SQL.
