    Hello,

My site is going to have several subdomains, to be determined in the future.
I am confused how I should proceed. I already purchased the SSL addon.

Now I need a wildcard SSL certificate.
    I went here: http://www.geotrust.com/ssl/wildcard-ssl-certificates/
    and the cost is $499.

In the SSL Manager it says (CSR):
    Example 2:
You wish to secure, secure.mydomain.com, then the Common Name is: secure.mydomain.com
(NOTE: This means, https://secure.mydomain.com is secure, but https://mydomain.com and https://www.mydomain.com will cause 'Common Name Doesn't Match' Popup Warning.)

So if I purchase the unlimited wildcard, and I create a CSR for demo.edutuit.com (my domain), then in the future how will I be able to make this work with another subdomain of my choosing?

The wildcard common name - *.edutuit.com - will work with demo.edutuit.com or any other subdomain.

The only thing it will not work on is the root domain: https://edutuit.com

I get it now.. So I need to wildcard it when I choose the common name! Many thanks.
