SSL for MS SQL 2005

    Hi,

    Do Discount ASP.NET MS SQL 2005 servers have SSL capabilities?

    I'm interested in encrypting the transmission of data from the SQL Server to my (local) client application.

    Is the data sent from an MS SQL 2005 server encrypted at all by defualt?

    Thanks for the reply Bruce.

    Being new at ASP.NET, would the information between my local application and discount asp.net's SQL server be easily viewable by malicious parties?

    As with any application / database accessible from the Internet, there is an inherit risk of getting compromised.

    We take security very seriously and we have done almost everything we could to secure our servers and customer's data from getting compromise.
