  1. Hello,
I bought the SSL addons for my domain name www.sport-tribe.com with the certificate from RapidSSL (at the time where it was not free with DiscountASP).

I also own the domain www.sport-tribe.fr which point to the same website but translated in french and I also need SSL for this domain.

What should I do ? Do I need to pay another SSL addons or can I somehow create a new one for free with my current SSL addon and how ?

    Thank you very much.

  2. If you purchased an SSL for 'www.sport-tribe.com', it will only work on this domain. You don't get a free one with the current one either, as each SSL would basically be it's own order, there isn't a special deal we get for these.

You also can only have one SSL per hosting account, as you can only have one Unique IP, and one IIS entry, meaning only one can be installed at a time.

I would recommend checking out the Multi-Domain SSLs (or UCC certificates). These allow you to have multiple domain names in the same SSL certificate. We do not provide these ourselves, but there are vendors like GeoTrust which offer these certificates:

  3. Thank you for your answer !

So if I don't want to use Multi-Domain SSLs (to save money in this early stage of the site), my only choice is to have only one secure domain then.

Both domains www.sport-tribe.com and www.sport-tribe.fr point to the same IP address on DiscountASP.

Is there a possibility that I could change my SSL to work with www.sport-tribe.fr instead of www.sport-tribe.com without paying extra ? (I can see that RapidSSL is free with discountasp.net)

    Cheers

Unfortunately, once the certificate is issued, it cannot be refunded by the provider. If you want to switch the cert, we can certainly do that but you'll have to pay for the cert again.
