yes. once you have SSL enabled, all the pages can be accessed using either HTTP or HTTPs.

    You have 2 options

    1) Programatically ensure all connections are done through HTTPS.

    2) We can configure the server to force HTTPS only connection. ie. you'll get an error if you try to access the site w/ http.

  2. Thanks for that...I wasn't sure if the SSL was applied to a directory, but from your explanation I'm starting to get the picture.

  3. I have just had my Custom SSL certificate installed & tested it out using the https:// protocol to find it works perfectly.

However using the http:// protocolreturns the same page un-encrypted.

Is there any setting that will not allow pages to be show with the http:// that are meant to be encrypted?

    I.E.

I am trying to have some directories secure while the rest of the site isn't. With those secure directories I don't want the pages opened with the http:// protocol.

  4. As a follow up to that. When I wanted to force certain sub-directories to require SSL, I have had to configure IIS to do this. I didn't see a way to configure the sub-directories to require/not require SSL using the web tools provided by discount asp.net. Is there something I am missing, or should I just communicate this wish by Trouble Ticket?
