Stand alone application connecting database in web server

    Is there any problemif we develop a stand alone app. (windows base vb.net) to update theSQL 2000 data basein the web host?

    Insted of move information back and forward through the sql manager with DTS?

    The stand alone app intends to update our corporate data base from and to the database that is in the web server. Is this posible?
