Sub-domain question

A client of mine might be hiring me to create a shopping cart module. I have suggested that they host this app on Discountasp.net.

Here's my question. If I create a new account on your server, do you think it would be possible for my client's web hoster to simply point to you like this: http://shopcart.mainsite.org? If so, then they wouldn't have to purchase a new domain name.

If it's feasible, what do I need to do to make this happen?

That's fine, when you're creating your hosting account, just specify the subdomain to be used instead of the actual domain. Then the account will work with the subdomain.
