Wrote some code in 1997 with dreamweaver and ASP. I want to try again to write some basic code, small sign up database, basic fly out drop down boxes, etc. I have heard that starting over I should restart with ASP.net 2.0 --- some say ASPX? Anyone care to recommend I go with Front page and then insertcode OR is there something else out there that lets you do everything (drop down windows text and stuff and database with shopping cart) ??? Visual Studio and MS Visual Web Developer. Need to be able to let customers have access to site to make administrative changes. Help me start my journey.... I recommend you consider using ASP.NET. ASP is a fading technology. IMHO, it is much easier to code in ASP.NET with all the latest tools like VWD / VS.NET.
