  1. Without having to pay for any additonal addons such as mySQL, does a hosting account with discountasp.net support any forum such as phpBB or Snitz? I'm considering an account here, but I do want to run a database supported forum. If one of the addon databases is required, I'd like to know up front.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Snitz will run here with the default MS Access database. I don't have any knowledge of whether or not PhpBB will.

  4. I checked on phpBB by making a post in their forum. The word I'm getting is that phpBB will run with the default MS Access database, but will probably only support a couple of users at a time. Of course, that's unacceptable.

Bruce, I did see that page, but my question is about the need for a database more robust than MS Access database. I'd like to know if it's necessary for me to pay the additional fee for an SQL database.

MS SQL and mySQL are both offered as addon service.

    $10 - ms sql
    $5 - my sql
