Transfer domain

I registered a domain name from discountasp.net when I setup a hosting account. I'd now like to transfer my domain to another hosting provider, how can I do I unlock the domain and transfer it?

I believe you can, and you can sue me if I am wrong, but you will need to contact the Billing department.

I had a friend recently do the same as you, and that was the path he travled in order to set his domain in to the wild!
