  1. Hi,

I have a site that works on my local server using the latest TreeView component however when I upload the site to my client's discountasp account, the tree has a line height of 300%, there's a Javascript error and the tree doesn't wrap to fit within the table.

I have checked to make sure all the files are on the server but it's still not working. Apparently this is not a server issue though and I am supposed to post my question here.

If you have an idea as to why this is happening, please private message me so I can give you some login details. I'm guessing it has something to do with versions or something. I'm not really sure.

Thanks for your help- I'm stumped on why this is happening and I'm overdue on delivery because of it.

    Regards,
    Groover

The information you provided is too superficial, we need more details to help you.

    1) What is the URL to the page that generate the problem

    2) what is the component??

  3. I didn't post the URL because that requires me to hand out access to the password protected areas of the site- which is why I said for people to private message me or something. Also, I mentioned the component was TreeView so I'm not sure what your question was referring to...
    1. The URL:http://tasqcomau00.web119.discountasp.net/admin
    2. Then log in with:

      user: test
      pass: test
    3. Click on "Manage Content" in the welcoming screen

When that loads you will see the left admin menu is triple spaced, not wrapping the contents and has a javascript error. These errors does not occur on my local machine.
    • DiscountASP.net uses TreeView version: 2.0.0.9
    • My local machine uses TreeView version: 2.0.0.14

    Please be careful in there.

    Thanks.

  4. I just had a chat to my senior developer and he says that "unless DiscountASP update their version to the latest version- they will have to send the files required to use version 2.0.0.9 as I cannot find a download of the older version"

Furthermore this is costing me money- more than what the hosting costs per year. It would be great if someone could help me rectify this situation instead of deny its validity. Especially considering I have spoken so highly about DiscountASP in the past and many of my clients and co-workershave accounts directly with DiscountASP as a result.
I will send this to tech support as well and try that way. I really don't want to have to start all over again with a totally different menu system as it is heavily used within many parts of the web site.

    Regards
