You can't really disable port 80, because that's the port all HTTP calls use. I really don't see how this could be disabled for the entire server, but maybe just your IIS entry it's possible.
What tests? Disabling port 80 would take the site off the web (primary and secondary URL), so you're kind of limited in what you could test at that point. We can't do it for you anyway, but I don't know offhand if that is delegated in IIS Manager.
Not really recommended, but there is a way to disable port 80, and set it up that whenever it gives you the specific error, it redirects to port 443. This forces it to be secure, but it's not going to be good for search engine rankings. You'll probably have to contact support.
That's what I want. It's a private website, so I don't care nor want SEO. Is this not support? Who should I contact? Thanks Ramses!
Just wanted to thank the amazing support team DiscountASP has. I got this via email: And promptly, my request was fulfilled. Cheers!
