  1. :confused:Hello,
I created my website using iWeb and successfully posted and updated it online on an iMac account. Now I want to post it to my non-Mac domain name.
Testing the connection is successful, but each time I go to publish it starts fine and ends a few minutes later ...always with the same error message. The error message reads:
    "Publish Error
There was an error communicating with the FTP server. Try again later, or check with your service provider."
That said, I can go to the website at the URL I'm publishing to, and see the website(all pages and linked docs, though bold text appears fuzzy)...just unsettled that iWeb isn't confirming that it published successfully.
D-ASP support took a look at the steps I took to publish. Everything appeared to be fine with the steps I took, additionally they replied
"I checked the ftp service provided to your account and did not find any issues that can result in this problem." They suggested I post my issue to this community forum.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
    THANK YOU!!!

I don't think you'll find a lot of iWeb users here, unfortunately. But if the site is uploading okay, and everything seems to work, tracking down the cause of the error is kind of secondary.

You might want to check out some Windows-centric tools/editors. Visual Studio might be a little daunting coming from iWeb, but Expression Web might be easier to use. You can always try it and see if it works for you.
