Good Afternoon Everyone, I'm in the process of moving an existing PHP site, to a new customized BlogEngine.NET app hosted here on DASP. The problem I'm encountering, is rewriting the existing (.html) urls to the new urls (.aspx). Obviously I don't want to lose traffic during this migration, so I'm somewhat stuck for ideas. I've looked into ISAPI rewriting, but from what I've read, I don't believe it's supported here? I've also heard of URL Rewriting with IIS7, however, I can't seem to get the rewriter module in a dev environment since, it's only packaged for x64 and x86. Has anyone encountered a problem like this or could offer some ideas or input? Thanks
are you hosted on IIS 7.0? If so, you can use the built-in rewrite module. See http://blogs.iis.net/bills/archive/2008/05/31/urlrewrite-module-for-iis7.aspx
