  1. I would like to upload to my site via VB.Net, which requires installing frontpage extentions. However, a large part of my site is not created or managed through VB.Net. From your FAQs:

quote: If you choose to publish using FrontPage, DO NOT use any other program to transfer files to your website via FTP. (eg. do not use programs like WSFTP). If you do so, your FrontPage extensions my become corrupt, which can break your site. You will then need to reinstall FrontPage extensions and re-upload your website.</blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
I wish to use the frontpage extentions to upload my VB.Net apps, but also be able to use FTP. I have used frontpage and FTP with other hosts, and didn't have a problem. Is there something unique about your setup that causes the two programs to conflict? I would really hate to re-design my site because of the incompatibility. Is there a program available that will allow me to use frontpage extentions to perform the same functions as an FTP program? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Hello.

That FAQ is actually posted there to warn inexperience user to not use both FP & FTP. We have seen in many occasions that inexperience user remove thoes funky looking directories (_vti_*) using FTP.

There's actually no technical reason why FP & FTP are incompitable. If you are experience with FP & FTP, you can use both.
