I have a new client and we are thinking of using this hosting service. Everything looks really good, however one area I did not see mentioned and it is that of a source code repository. I have a copy of Visual Source Safe. Can I install it? Thanks.
No. we offer shared hosting service. VSS requires a dedicated server. In general, you wouldn't want to install source control on a remote location too far away from your development environment. Bruce, Thanks for your thoughts on this. We have been discussing this internally, and I am in favor of a central repository consisting of source code and relevent project documents on our LAN and our new customer does not. Mike Malter
