  1. Hi:

I just finished my first ASP.NET website work. Trying to upload it to website. The VS Studio Copy Project sounds like a straight forward thing, but the "destination projet folder" is the part I don't know how to make it work.I am not sure how to map my discountasp.net's web or ftp addressto a local network/web folder.

Have flipped over ten pages of forum posting, didn't find one. Maybe just post it here see if anyone went through this before.

    Thank you for your help!

  3. Thanks, Bruce.

I have read the article. Set up for my copy project was good. It turns out that my tiny personal firewall blocked the ftp connection. Not sure why this is happening since dreamweaver is working fine for FTP.

Anyway, just in case other people run into the same issue. Disable the firewall should solve the problme.

VS.NET uses HTTP to upload. That's why you can upload via FTP using Dreamweaver.

The Windows Firewall is probably blocking HTTP upload.
