Visual Studio & Linksys Routers

As many of you know there is a known problem with the Copy web interface in Visual Studio 2005 if you use Passive mode.

For the past few months I've been working with Linksys in trying to nail this down.

Today Joane Joy (Badge ID 18066 Linksys) contacted me to say:

Rest assured that I am currently working onthis concern.

The problem occurring during remote Website operations from Visual Studio 2005 has been reported by many developers.

The only way to keep the file operations working properly is to only use non-passive mode.

If passive mode is used Visual Studio 2005 operations become locked, apparently by the router.

(I'll keep everyone updated. For now the solution is to avoid passive mode even for single file operations.)
