vs 2008 copy web site is where??

  1. I must be blind but I cannot find the copy web site tool in my VS 2008. The publish advice on this forum says I need this to get my site to work when published.

  2. The 'Copy Website' feature should be available under the 'Website' menu but you have to have a website open for this function to appear. The 'Copy Website' feature utilizes the 'FrontPage Server Extension' technology which can be a little flakey when it comes to NTFS security. I prefer using the FTP method of VS 2008 much better. Use this kb article for detailed steps on how to setup your VS 2008 to connect to our server via FTP and upload your site.

    Found "copy website". I thought I had created a website but apparently not. WIll use your link on how to publish.
