Well...I'm recommending holding off for the non-beta.
After following the install guidelines, removing 3.5 futures, Silverlight beta, etc., it still rolls back on me.
I'm using the full 2008 Pro version, not the D/L version, on Vista SP1 andcan't figure out what is going wrong from the logs.
The good news is, several members of the VS team swear the official SP release is coming out soon.

Note: I'm still holding off now and will not be installing the beta.

 

BETA version is always not good choice unless you are too desperate to tryout the new features!

Yes, I know how it can be to play with beta's but I'm willing to reach into the Lions cage to grab candy at times.
