  1. Hello all. I'm not a programmer, and I'm definitely not too intelligent. But I managed to develop a site in Visual Web Developer. I am addicted to trying to learn programming. I need a "contactengineering.aspx" form, but my googling skills weren't up to the test. I could find nothing.

Basically, I just want something light and easy, and something that's easy for dummies to install and implement. So when someone goes to our website, they can go to the contact.aspx page for contact information ...

OR they can click the hyperlinked picture I have to contact an applications engineer directly, and that's where I want to send 'em to this form -- contactengineering.aspx. There, I want them to just fill out a couple things -- name, company, email, phone, and click "submit" and then have it go to the email address I specified in my code/configurations.

Is this difficult? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Visual Studio and VWD have some built in basic templates or can be downloaded directly from the authoring tool itself. Have you checked out WebMatrix yet?

Microsoft released the WebMatrix authoring tool in an attempt to help get new developers started with their coding, here's a link:

  3. Thank you for your response, Keik. I'm downloading that right now using the Web Platform Installer and I'll definitely give it a shot. I appreciate the guidance!
