WCF support

  1. I'm not sure I follow you on this.

It's not possible to say, create a new WCF Service web site in Visual Studio and deploy it to our discountasp.net hosted sites if the servers have the .NET Framework 3.0 installed? So that client applications can access http://mysite.com/myservice.svc?wsdl to generate the client proxy?

Currently we do not have .NET Framework 3.0 installed on our webservers. Our team is evaluation and testing .NET Framework 3.0. We will certainly make announcements if we plan to install .NET Framework 3.0.

Does anyone has any simple application that you've built w/ WCF? We want to perform some test but could find anything decent.

  4. If? Don't you mean WHEN you install the 3.0 Framework? You guys are usually ahead of the curve with these things. I'm surprised you haven't got it up already.

Yes, we will let customers know when we have .NET Framework 3.0 available.

Our team did not prioritze .NET 3.0 hosting because wewere working onIIS7 beta hosting andbecause .NET Framework 3.0is ASP.NET 2.0 with some extra stuff. Were it ASP.NET 3.0, then we would definitely have been on top of it.
